Site Assessment

Assessing the characteristics of the site allows the project design to meet the challenges of the site whilst providing a sensitive, effective development. Patrick J. Newell Consulting Engineers provide site assessment services including topographical surveys, trial pits, percolation tests, soil classification tests and where necessary we procure and supervise bore hole and tracer tests.

Marine Engineering

Our firm provides our clients with range of Marine Engineering services suitable for developments in nearshore, offshore and fresh-water environments. We provide tailored solutions for each project in consultation with the client. We can develop fully integrated bespoke models using finite element or finite difference techniques for large scale studies or use existing techniques and models to address specific items of interest.

Structural Design

We create safe and innovative structural steel, reinforced concrete, structural timber and masonry designs for a wide variety of residential, commercial, industrial, educational and agricultural buildings and structures. In every case our design team examine the safest, most cost effective and aesthetically pleasing options and provides a design that satisfies our clients’ criteria.

3d Modelling

3d computer modelling is one of the most effective methods of visualising a project, particularly large scale developments involving a number of buildings, complex landscaping or buildings spread across a number of levels. Photorealistic models and photomontages are ideal for visualising and assessing a building or plan and contextualising a proposed development within existing landscapes and city/townscapes.
